Naga Chilli Vodka is made with pure wheat spirit and Naga Jolokia is 200 times hotter than a jalapeno pepper or Naga Jolokia (each jalapeno pepper has 5000 Scoville scale). The chillis are infused with large vodka-filled carboys (a large bottle with narrow neck) for many days before bottling, and the bottlers must wear gas masks and rubber gloves when handling the chillis and final vodka to protect their skin, eyes, lungs, and noses. The resulting blend is then kept for several days to infuse, and when the vodka turns dark caramel color, the infusion is complete and the vodka can be bottled. The manufacturers put a lead seal on the bottle that has to be cut with a wire cutter.
The company has manufactured three variants of Naga Chilli Vodka based on Scoville scale -
1,00,000 Scovilles Naga Chilli Vodka

This vodka has 40% of alcohol by volume and comes in the market with a 70 cl (centiliter) bottle.2,50,000 Scovilles Naga Chilli Vodka
Another monster was made by the Hot Enough Vodka Co Distillery after the successful launch of 1,00,000 Scoville. This vodka is infused with a 2,50,000 Scoville scale of Naga Jolokia or Ghost pepper that means it is more deadly than the previous one. It has an ABV percentage of 40% and comes with a 50 cl bottle.5,00,000 Scovilles Naga Chilli Vodka

What is the Scoville Scale?
Scoville scale measures the pungency of a Chilli pepper is recorded in Scoville Heat Unit (SHU) based on the concentration of capsaicin (an active component of Chilli pepper). This scale was created by the American pharmacist Wilbur Scoville in 1912. The score on the scale represents the level of dilution required for the sensation of pungent or heat to disappear completely.Source
